Manually Configure Your Wireless Router

A wireless router is a device that performs the functions of a router, wireless access point and a network switch. It is used to provide access to the Internet or a computer network.

You can setup your wireless router manually by following these steps:

1. Connect your wireless router to the modem with ethernet cable.
2. Connect the wireless router to a power source.
3. Connect the wireless router to your computer with ethernet cable.
4. Log in to your router’s Web interface  and enter the IP address of the router into the address bar of the browser.
5. Enter the login details which you will find within router’s documentation.
6. Use the Web interface to set up a network name and password so that you can access the router wirelessly.
7. Disconnect your computer from the router and then reconnect it wirelessly.
